My daughters have been learning the violin at Virtuosi Music Centre for 15 and 16 years. I think one of the reasons to them being able continue their violin studies till today is that the lessons are tailored to suit each of their characters. Also, their instructor would coach them in etude studies till it is near perfection and not leave it incomplete. They have also benefited from such trainings in other areas besides music.

I was taught from the basics and I received serious trainings till my foundations were established. Furthermore, we are given the opportunities to experience performing on a big stage as well as performing in events like Christmas events. We also have the opportunity to play with our instructors to play chamber music. In this school, as there are many instructors, we can receive various feedbacks from different instructors and I am very thankful for that.

I have been learning the violin for 9 years. Time passes quickly during lesson because I enjoy it so much which is the reason why I am able to continue until today. I am getting used to seriously challenging myself to play difficult pieces. I hope that one day I would be able to perform a piece with a high level of difficulty like my teacher, impressively.

I was wondering if my child, who turned four at that time, should pick up any instruments. It was through my friend's recommendation that I chose the violin for my child even though I knew nothing of it. I feel that what was fun was to be able to have my child to start learning without any hesitation. Because I sit in for the lessons, I am aware of the patience the instructor has towards my child when teaching. I am glad for the choice I made for my child.

Besides performance technique and music itself, my instructor has taught me many other various things such as the right manners and courtesy of a musician. The quality and the innerness of the player can be reflected in the sound one produces. I hope that I will be able to play a genuine sound that can touch people's heart and bring joy to them.
